It has become a tradition amongst top photographers to publish their “best of” at the end of each year. It is always a very difficult choice – travel photos include personal memories of the location and portraits can be influenced by relations with the subject. Also, more recent images are fresher in the mind and so more highly regarded. We have attempted to be objective this year in selecting the top 5, but apologies if your favourite image is not included. In descending order (i.e. the first image is our favourite)
